Mr. Zelensky underlined that during 2023 his country will be more active in the field of diplomacy in order to develop and strengthen its cooperation with its partners both in Europe and the rest of the world, as the process is ongoing of its accession to the European Union, while it has applied to join NATO as well.

“In general, we hold our positions” Zelensky said in his evening speech. “There are also some areas of the front where we are making slight progress”.
Zelensky said Ukraine, which has been receiving waves of airstrikes from Russia, has strengthened its anti-aircraft capabilities and will further strengthen them next year to protect its territory and the entire European continent.
