Green energy
Wanting to consolidate its position on the country’s energy map, Volton is implementing an important investment plan in the field of green energy.
In addition to the investments that are operating or are in the final stage of implementation, the Volton group, in the context of the green transition and the goal of reducing emissions at national and pan-European level, is progressing the maturation of a large portfolio of projects. Facilities with a capacity of 530MW are in the licensing process, which once activated will create a production capacity of a total capacity of 562MW, making the Volton Group one of the largest green energy groups in Greece.
Transformation into a multiservice provider
The entry and activity in the telecommunications market as a virtual provider (Mobile Virtual Network Operator – MVNO) begins with the Volton Group, which currently holds a strong position in the electricity supply market. After the successful completion of the relevant negotiations with Vodafone Greece, Volton as a full “MVNO” will operate as an integrated provider, with full control of the products and services it will offer to its customers.
In this context, the energy group is going to develop a new business model by providing innovative combined energy and telecommunications services (mobile, fixed telephony & internet) with highly competitive tariffs. Volton’s strategic goal is to transform from an energy company to a multiservice provider, providing a wide range of products and services and offering even more savings to the total costs of its residential and corporate customers.
