Voluntary cleaning of the beach by the employees of Intrum Hellas in one of the most beautiful beaches of Attica

In the framework of the Social Responsibility program of Intrum Hellas and with the aim of further sensitizing and contributing human resources to environmental issues, on the occasion of today’s European Day for the Sea, a voluntary action was held on Sunday 15 May to clean the beach of Ag. Nikolaou in Anavyssos. This action launches a series of environmental awareness and protection actions that also aim to highlight the value of volunteering by Intrum employees.

Actively supporting the aims of the Save Your Hood volunteer movement, the Intrum Hellas volunteer team, along with their families, had the opportunity to learn about coastal pollution, waste management and recycling. Then, equipped with special equipment and good mood, they contributed in practice to the environmental upgrade in one of the most beautiful beaches of Attica, collecting over 3,500 liters of garbage on this beach.

“At Intrum, we believe that environmental protection is the responsibility of all of us and the value of volunteering is invaluable. With enthusiasm, our volunteers were informed and mobilized in a symbolic effort, sending the message that together we can shape a sustainable future for the next “An optimistic start for a series of actions that bring our employees closer, guided by our values and our goals for a sustainable future”, stressed Maria Fatzikmanoli, B.
