O Rio de Janeiro turns 459 years old this Friday (01). The wonderful city is considered as the birthplace of several musical styles, such as samba and bossa nova in addition to having one of the biggest carnivals in the country.
Due to the anniversary of the capital of Rio de Janeiro, the Central Collection and Distribution Office (Ecad) raised the most played songs at shows held in the city during 2023 .
First on is the music “I’m going to celebrate” , which was composed by Jorge Aragão, Neoci and Dida. The success of the samba was recorded in the voice of Beth Carvalho .
Already in second place are Tim Maia It is Jorge Ben Jor tied. “The Discoverer of the Seven Seas” It is “Tropical country” they share the second position of most played songs at shows in the city of Rio.
Tim Maia also appears in third place, with the track “Não Quero Monet”, while Jorge Ben returns in sixth position, with “Taj Mahal”.
