Voyager Digital has received permission to trade digital assets from the French regulator and plans to launch a mobile trading app in the first quarter of 2022.
According to a statementVoyager Digital has been officially licensed to trade digital assets in the French and EU markets under LGO Europe SAS. The license was issued by the French regulatory authorities Autorité des marchés (AMF) and Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR).
In early August, Voyager Digital bought the payment company Coinify to accelerate its international expansion. The company is currently developing a trading application that will launch in a number of European countries in the first quarter of 2022. Lewis Bateman, Voyager Digital’s director of international relations, said:
