Voyager Digital will sell the rest of its assets at auction

The cryptocurrency lender will sell the remainder of its assets at auction on September 13, according to a statement from the courts overseeing the Voyager Digital bankruptcy process.

Bankrupt crypto lender Voyager has revealed that a private auction will take place on September 13 at the New York office of investment bank Moelis & Company. Approximately 88 potential participants have expressed interest in purchasing Voyager’s assets. Of these, 22 confirmed their participation, passed a comprehensive check and held preliminary negotiations with the firm. The Bankruptcy Court will review the results of the auction and approve the results by September 29.

According to the restructuring plan, all proceeds from the sale of Voyager’s assets will be used to pay off creditors’ claims. Once the winning bidder has been announced, customers will receive further information on the compensation claim process. In this regard, Voyager draws the attention of customers that all claims and grounds for them must be submitted for consideration no later than October 2.

Recall that at the end of August, the Bankruptcy Court in New York allowed the cryptocurrency broker to pay bonuses in accordance with the Key Employee Retention Plan.
