more than 15 trans people completed a training course aimed at employability, carried out by the organization’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program and the Technical School of the Albert Einstein Teaching and Research Institute.
The training was carried out in partnership with the Transcitizenship Program, conducted by the Municipal Department of Human Rights and Citizenship to promote social reintegration and the rescue of citizenship for transvestites, transgender men and women in situations of vulnerability.
The Transformar project classes are taught by professors from the technical school of the Albert Einstein Teaching and Research Institute. The sensitization workshop was held in partnership with the LGBTI+ citizenship center, an initiative of the Municipal Department of Human Rights and Citizenship, through the LGBTI Policy Coordination.
The initiative allows students to develop skills such as oral and written communication, reading and interpretation of texts, digital inclusion and service techniques.
In addition to promoting training, the organization will seek to absorb talents within the context of its own workforce, based on the commitment of the diversity and inclusion front to make the internal environment increasingly plural.
“Within its various actions in the ESG pillars, Einstein has advanced in promoting inclusion not only in its workforce, but in the general job market. One of these means is through professional training that promotes greater employability, as in the case of the ‘Transform’ program, which allows us to offer opportunities for transgender people who are in a situation of vulnerability”, says the Einstein Attraction, Selection and Diversity manager. , Priscila Surita.
In 2022, Einstein formed four groups of professionals from minority groups, such as refugees, residents of shelters and LGBTQIA+, in different areas. So far, of the 141 people trained, half have been hired by the organization itself.
