A children’s ballet presentation went viral on social media in recent days and conquered the entire internet.
Little Cecília Viana, 4 years old, fell asleep at the beginning of the show “A Árvore da Vida”, by Instituto Cultural Artevida, in Barueri, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, last Sunday (20).
To the sound of “To make you sleep”, by Isadora Canto, the dancers appear lying on the floor of the stage. The girls get up and start the choreography, except for Cecília, who fell asleep for real.
The little girl’s parents, Cristiane Oliveira, 38, and Adevaldo Viana, 36, who were filming the show, couldn’t understand if the choreography had changed or if, in fact, their daughter was sleeping.
It took a while for the mother to realize that the little one had fallen asleep – in the middle of the stage. In the video that recorded Cecília’s presentation, Cristiane bursts out laughing and says: “somebody wake up my daughter”.
At another moment, the mother says: “Wake up, Cecilia! Leave it to sleep at home”.
In conversation with CNN Cecília’s father says that this was her first performance, and she has been attending ballet classes at the Artevida Cultural Institute for a year, with teacher Dany Viegas.
The teacher reports that “last year, she performed at the institute itself due to the pandemic”.
