Waking up bitcoin-kit transferred 137 BTC to $ 15.6 million

On Thursday, an inactive bitcoin wallet has been on the balance of 444.81 BTC in the amount of $ 50.7 million at the current prices for almost 13 years, transferred part of the coins.

The outgoing transaction included 137.03 BTC ($ 15.6 million), of which, according to ARKHAM, 132 BTC went to the new address and 5 BTC to the wallet on the American exchange Kraken.

The last time the mentioned address address showed activity on November 26, 2012, when he received the same 137.03 BTC. Then the 44.81 BTC stored on it cost only $ 5437, the experts of the Onchain Lens blockchain monitoring platforms noted.

Apparently, the anonymous owner of the wallet decided to sell part of the coins transferred to the crypto -country. And this can be understood, because during the retention the cost of one bitcoin increased 9300 times (in 2012, BTC was estimated at only $ 12.22).

According to network data, 307.79 BTC in the amount of $ 35.1 million are still stored at the awakened address “1Q397”.

Last week, another bitcoin address containing about 479 BTC worth $ 53 million also woke up after almost 13 years of inaction.

The current price of bitcoin is $ 114,500, per day the main cryptocurrency has increased by 0.4%, weekly dynamics in a plus by 3.6%.
