“Wandinha” breaks record and becomes series with best premiere on Netflix

Netflix’s big bet, “Wandinha” , is already a great success. The series premiered on the platform last Wednesday (23) and has already made history.

The production broke the record of “Stranger Things” and became the most viewed English-language series in a week on the streaming service, accumulating 341.2 million hours watched.

In addition, the series about the Addams family is in the Top 1 of the platform in 83 countries.

The information was shared on the official account of “Wandinha” on social networks.

Directed and produced by Tim Burton, “Wandinha” the series places a family already known by the viewer, the Addams, in a new context, with the daughter of Morticia and Gomez as the protagonist.

The production has eight episodes and follows Wandinha’s trajectory at school Nunca Mais.

Jenna Ortega (“You” and “Pânico 5”) is Wandinha, Catherine Zeta-Jones (“The Mask of Zorro” and “Chicago”) is Morticia, Luis Guzman (“Carlito’s Way” and “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island”) is Gomez, Isaac Ordonez it’s Pugsley and Fred Armisen (“Saturday Night Live”) is Uncle Fester. In addition to George Burcea who is Tropeço (Lurch, in English) and the family mascot, the “Mãozinha”.
