Wanessa and Dado Dolabella celebrate the current phase of their relationship after 20 years apart

Wanessa Camargo and Dado Dolabella reflected on the differences between the couple's current relationship and the one they experienced in the early 2000s.

The singer, 41, and the actor, 43, who resumed their relationship in 2022, after around 20 years apart, believe that maturity has played a crucial role in this new phase of the duo.

“If we had the mindset we had 20 years ago, I don’t think we would even be together anymore. This business of opposites complementing each other is complicated, you have to have the head and maturity to understand that the other is different, that we are from different universes, but that we still want to live together”, began Wanessa, in an interview with her beloved for the magazine “Who”.

Dado added: “There are always challenges in relationships, whether we are younger or older. Today we are in different times than before. We are parents and we have different rhythms.”

Recently, Wanessa reported, while participating in PocCast, how surprising it was to have fallen in love with Dado again.

“There were things that were still the same, but others that were completely different. Do you know when you know someone and don't know them at the same time? Are you already intimate, but no longer? It's very crazy. Let us remember that little girl you already know. It’s really crazy”, said Zezé di Camargo’s daughter.

The star, who announced the end of her marriage with businessman Marcus Buaiz in May 2022, believes that the reunion with Dado happened at the right time.

“It's really crazy, because it's someone I already dated. It's not a new person. It's a new old acquaintance. It's a different person, because 18 years have passed. We are different, we are parents, we separated and soon I met my ex-husband and got married. And a lot happened,” he added.
