War in Israel: Ex-soccer star dead celebrating birthday – Hamas paratroopers storm club and spread death

Lior Assoulin, famous former football player in Israel who also played for a while at Apollon Limassol in Cyprus, is one of the more than 600 victims of the bloody armed conflict between Israel and Palestine.

According to the Israeli site “Ynet”, Assoulin, 43, was found dead at a party he had organized for his 43rd birthday in the south of the country on Saturday, by members of Hamas.

The 43-year-old former striker started his career at Maccabi Herzliya in 1997, in 2007 he moved to Hapoel Tel Aviv and from there to Apollon Limassol in 2008.

According to the reports, the former player of the Cypriot team was murdered along with many other citizens by an attack by a group of about 50 people in the area where the party was held. In fact, as reported by the local media, paratroopers of the Palestinian militant group Hamas stormed the club and spread death.
