War in Israel: Second convoy of 14 aid trucks enters Gaza

The head of UN humanitarian aid Martin Griffiths said the second convoy of trucks carrying humanitarian aid to Gauze entered the Palestinian enclave.

Fourteen trucks are involved, one day after the first 20 crossed the Rafah border between Egypt and Gaza.

“Another small ray of hope for the millions of people who are in dire need of humanitarian assistance. But more is needed, much more,” Griffiths said in a tweet.

According to Sky News, UN officials said they would need at least 100 trucks per day in Gaza to meet urgent needs as food, fuel and water are running low.
