War in Israel: The moment an Israeli rocket lands meters away from a Lebanese journalist – ‘Rif, Rif are you okay?’

A Lebanese woman journalist interrupted the live broadcast he was doing on Monday, November 13, when a rocket fell a few meters from where he was presenting reportage for the escalation of cross-border hostilities, among Israeli forces and of the supported by Iran Hezbollah group.

Rif Akil, of the Lebanese Al Jadeed channel, was with a group of journalists in Yaroun, near the Israeli border, when the rocket hit. The woman managed to walk away unharmed, while her studio colleague said the group had been targeted by Israeli forces.

“Riff, Riff are you alright?” the anchor can be heard asking from the television studio as the camera continues to record. Seconds later, the reporter replies that everyone is fine with the cameraman recording the aftermath of the missile explosion, reports the Guardian.

Israel’s military has yet to respond to a request for comment on the incident.
