Today, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 694 Ukrainian fighters who were fortified in the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol were surrendered in the last 24 hours, as reported today by the RIA news agency.
As of Monday, a total of 959 fighters from Azofstal had been handed over, 80 of whom were wounded, the ministry said, according to RIA and international news agencies and the Athens News Agency.
