Seven attacks on healthcare infrastructure in Ukraine from start of the war in Ukraine on 24 February The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed four of the previous day, the UN said in a response on Monday (7/3) via email to Reuters.
“As of March 7, nine verified cases of attacks on healthcare infrastructure in Ukraine have been published in the Health Attack Monitoring System (SSA), seven with a “confirmed” level of certainty and two with a “probable” level of certainty, said a WHO official in an email, referring to his database, broadcasts the APE-MPE.
The official did not provide information on the perpetrators of these attacks, as the WHO surveillance system does not have a mandate to collect information about them.
