War in Ukraine: About 100,000 Ukrainians have entered Poland

Nearly 100,000 Ukrainians have passed on Poland after the Russian attack, according to Polish Deputy Interior Minister Pavel Scheffernacker.

“After the start of military operations in Ukraine “And to date, along the border with Ukraine, 100,000 people have crossed the border, coming from Ukraine to Poland,” Scheffernacker told reporters at the Medicaik border post.

According to him, 90% of the refugees went or go to Poland to friends or parents, while the rest are transferred to nine reception centers established near the border.

The head of the Polish border guards, Tomas Prague, stated during the same press conference that yesterday alone almost 50,000 Ukrainians arrived in Poland.
