War in Ukraine: At least 10 killed “by Russian fire” in Severodonetsk

Ukrainians are living the nightmare of war after the Russian invasion of their country. At least 10 people were killed Tuesday in Russian fire in the eastern Ukrainian city of Severodonetsk, the Luhansk regional governor told the Telegram today.

According to the official, Sergei Gaidai, the Russian army “opened fire” on homes and other buildings. He did not specify whether these were artillery shells or not.

The area has been a theater of battles for days, as broadcast by the French Agency and rebroadcast by the Athenian News Agency.

A new attempt to evacuate civilians from the besieged Mariupol

In the meantime, Ukraine will now try to evacuate civilians through six “humanitarian corridors” set up by, inter alia, the southern besieged city of Mariupolsaid Deputy Prime Minister Irina Verestsuk.

Verestsuk said in a video statement that the Ukrainian armed forces had agreed to cease fire in the area by 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. (local time and Greek time) and called on the Russian forces to keep their commitment to local ceasefires.
