Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba met today with his US counterpart Anthony Blinkenon the border with Poland and reiterated that his country needs fighter jets and air defense systems.
“It is no secret that our most important request concerns fighter jets and air defense systems,” Kuleba told Blinken at a meeting at Poland’s Korcova-Krakowets border post.
Kuleba called NATO’s refusal to impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine a “sign of weakness”, saying it would lead to civilian deaths. According to the Ukrainian minister, there are no humanitarian corridors in his country because Russia is violating the agreements.
Kuleba said he hoped the results of his talks with Blinken would materialize in the coming days, explaining that he had called for more sanctions to be imposed on Russia, among other things.
