War in Ukraine: Call by the mayor of Kiev to NATO to speed up arms deliveries

The mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschkois in Spain for his meeting NATO and called on the Atlantic Alliance to “speed up” deliveries weapons in Ukraineto counter the Russian invasion.

“We expect ‘from the NATO summit that it will allow’ accelerate ‘arms deliveries to the Ukrainian army,” Vitali Klitschko said when asked by reporters what he expected from the summit.

“We need anti-missile systems. Every day we see Russian missiles destroying our cities, killing civilians, destroying infrastructureKlitschko, who was accompanied, as usual, by his twin brother, Volodymyr, added.

“Support for Ukraine is the key to bringing peace back to Europe,” Klitschko said, adding that Russia’s invasion of the country “is not a war against the Ukrainian army but against the people.”

«We must isolate RussiaThe mayor’s brother also insisted, condemning the attack on the Kremencuk shopping center, where at least 18 people were killed and another 40 are missing.

“People need to learn to act fast. “We must stop Putin’s army in Ukraine, now (…) whatever it costs (…) to soldiers, defense and offensive weapons,” he said.
