Sadness in Ukraine on the death of the ballet soloist of the country’s National Opera, Alexander Shapoval. The famous dancer died in the battle of Donetsk on September 12, Valentyna Samchenko, deputy editor-in-chief of Ukraina Moloda media, announced on Facebook.
Shapoval had volunteered for the war to help his country in the war against the Russians.
The prima ballerina of the National Opera of Ukraine Kateryna Kukhar, with a post on her Instagram, expressed her deep sorrow for the loss of dancer. “He was a great artist and now his dance has become eternal. It is painful and difficult. Forever your memory, forever in the heart, in the memory, in the soul,” he wrote and published a photo of them together.
