War in Ukraine: Israeli PM meets with Putin in Moscow

The Israeli Prime Minister visited Moscow and met with Vladimir Putin to to discuss the war in Ukraine. In fact, he is the first foreign leader to visit Russia since the invasion of February 24.

According to Reuters, Israel may be a close ally of the US and have condemned the war, however said he would keep in touch with Moscowin the hope that it will help alleviate the crisis.

According to the French Agency, the Israeli Prime Minister, violated Saturday’s rule and traveled by air because such a thing is permissible if the purpose is to preserve human life.

So the Naftali Bennett met with the President of Russia and, among other things, reportedly discussed the military assistance provided by Moscow to the Syria, where the Israeli army often hits targets of Iran and Hezbollah. According to the APE-MPE, contacts with Moscow may help prevent an accidental exchange of fire between Russian and Israeli forces in the region.

It is noted that Vladimir Putin is expected to have contact with Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday, where they will talk about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
