War in Ukraine: Kiev claims its forces recaptured 14 square kilometers in a week

THE Ukrainian army recaptured 14 square kilometers in the south of the country from Russian forces last week as part of its counteroffensive, one of its representatives, Andrei Kovalev, said today. “More than 10 square kilometers of Ukrainian territories were liberated in the south Ukraine last week,” he said on Ukrainian television, clarifying that 4 sq. kilometers were also released “in the sector of Bahamut”, in the east.
