War in Ukraine – Kremlin veto: “Western sanctions will never make Russia change its position”

Russia is not taking a step back from its positions by showing that it does not pay any attention to the sanctions that have already been imposed and while the war in Ukraine as confirmed by the Kremlin representative on Tuesday (1/3), Dmitry Peshkov.

“Western sanctions will never make Russia change its position in Ukraine”said the representative of the Kremlin as broadcast by the Athenian News Agency.

Dmitry Peshkov said that though “Negotiations” have begun between Moscow and Kyiv there are no plans for talks between the presidents of the two countrieswhile he stated that it is too early to evaluate these “talks”.

“Allegations of Russian strikes on civilians in Ukraine are false”

Peshkov, meanwhile, dismissed as “false” allegations of Russian strikes on civilians in Ukraine and for the use of dispersal bombs and thermobaric bombs.

He declined to comment on the military situation on the ground on the sixth day of the Russian offensive against Ukraine, and declined to comment on whether the Kremlin actually considered Kyiv to be under Nazi control.
