There are thousands of civilians dead from the cities besieged by Russian troops while the war in Ukraine for the 19th day. Specifically in Mariupolmore than 2,500 people have been killed since the Russian invasion began on February 24.
The news was announced in a televised interview by presidential adviser Oleksi Arestovic.
He, as broadcast by APE-MPE, said that he cites data from the municipal authorities of Mariupol and accused the Russian forces that yesterday Sunday prevented humanitarian aid from reaching the besieged city.
Russia, for its part, says it is not targeting civilians.
It is recalled that Mariupol has been pounded by Russian forces, while a maternity hospital was bombed, killing three people and injuring 17 others, while a pregnant woman, whose photo made the rounds of the world, could not be kept alive.
