Poland is in favor of a process – express for Ukraine’s accession to the European Union, said President Andrei Duda in a post on Twitter.
“The status of the candidate country must be given immediately and then the accession talks must begin. Ukraine must also gain access to EU funds for reconstruction. “Ukraine deserves this,” Duda wrote, referring to the “heroism” of the Ukrainian nation, the Ukrainian armed forces and President Zelensky. “This heroism becomes part of the history of the free world. It is our commitment, already free, to ensure that they win. “We have to act, time is running out,” he said.
We note that in several cities of Poland since Russia launched the attack there have been many demonstrations in favor of Ukraine.
