Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov announced that a new meeting of the so-called Rammstein scheme – named after American air base at Germany – to discuss the upcoming arms deliveries from Western states to army of Ukraine.
The meeting is expected to take place immediately, possibly today (15/3), Mr. Reznikov said yesterday via Facebook, after talks he had with his Dutch counterpart, Kaisha Holgren.
At this meeting, in the port of Odesa (south), Mrs. Holgren mentioned the prospect of two Alkmaar-class minesweepers being delivered to the Ukrainian Navy in 2025. The Dutch armed forces intend to start training their crews from the second half of the current year. , according to her.
Belgium made a similar announcement, while Britain has already delivered some vessels. Mr. Reznikov spoke of forming an “alliance” to deliver ships.
In addition to minesweepers, the Netherlands will provide Ukraine with radars for UAVs and an amphibious M3 mobile bridge-building system, Ms. Holgren said for her part..

For his part, the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyin his night speech he hinted that reinforcement is expected in the supply of the equipment systems available to the Ukrainian army as well as ammunition.
“It is something we discuss in all the meetings with the Army General Staff,” he said and continued: “We are constantly working with our partners in order to increase the pressure on Russia. We are making efforts to put an end to Russian aggression and terrorism, and we have no doubt that we will win in the end. We will not allow them to take our land and our glory.”said the Ukrainian leader.
