War in Ukraine: Russia’s ambassador spoke of “war” before correcting himself

Her ambassador Russia in United Nations, Vassily Nebenziaspeaking at a press conference, argued that they are fake news civilian deaths in Ukrainehe concluded his sentence by saying that “such things can happen in war”.

The word used in the room was impressive, as so far no Russian actor in his public statement had referred to a war to describe what was happening in Ukraine.

He immediately accepted the question of a journalist: “Is it a war?”. To respond by trying to correct what he previously said “is a special military operation”.

The climate in the UN ranks is tense, however, as the US decided to expel 12 Russian diplomats from the country, on the occasion of the ongoing war in Ukraine. According to Reuters, the Russian diplomats of the United Nations have been ordered to leave America, while they have a deadline until March 7.

In fact, according to the report, the United States reportedly stated the following: “We asked the Russian diplomats to leave, so as not to damage our national sovereignty.” The news was also confirmed by Vassily Nebenzia.

It is noted that this decision came shortly after the discomfort of Moscow to Washington, for “hostile” demonstrations – as he characterized them – in its diplomatic facilities in the US.
