War in Ukraine: Strong sign of support, Zelensky described the presence of the three prime ministers

The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the Prime Ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia to Kyiv. They are the first foreign leaders to visit the Ukrainian capital after Russian invasion.

In a video of the meeting posted on his Telegram account, Zelensky said: “Your visit to Kyiv at this very difficult time for Ukraine is a strong sign of support. We really appreciate it. “

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Czech counterpart Petr Fiala and Slovenian leader Jens Jansa represented the Council of Europe and presented Zelensky with a package of European Union aid.

Earlier, speaking to politicians in northern Europe as part of a Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) leaders’ meeting in London by teleconference as the war in Ukraine continues for 20 days, he called on European leaders to send more weapons, stressing that “Europe must protect its own security by helping Ukraine to defend itself against Russia”.
