War in Ukraine: “The mayor of Melitopol was abducted by Russian soldiers”

Its mayor Melitopolis was abducted today by Russian soldiers who have occupied the city in southern Ukraine, according to the French News Agency, which cites Ukrainian officials.

The above video was shared by many Ukrainian media, however the authenticity of the material has not been substantiated by them (or by AFP).

It is worth noting, moreover, that a few days ago the deputy head of the regional council of Zaporizhia Leila Ibrahimova he was also abducted but released, according to parliament.

It is pointed out, finally, that before Russian invasionon February 24, Melitopoli had about 150,000 inhabitants.
