Putin announced a 30 -hour truce on Saturday, on Easter, ending at midnight tonight. However, Russia and Ukraine are accused of violating it. “We saw President Putin’s announcement of a temporary ceasefire due to Easter. We remain committed to achieving complete and total truce, “said a US Foreign Ministry spokesman in a statement sent by email. He added that Washington would “welcome” her extension. The two warring countries, however, blame each other of violations of the truce.
