War in Ukraine: Two dead and four wounded by Russian strikes in the last 24 hours

Two people were killed and four others were injured in the south Ukraine in the last 24 hours by Russian missile strikes, mainly in the city of Krivi Rykh, the birthplace of Volodymyr Zelensky, the authorities announced today.

Friday night one man was killed and one more was injured in Kriviy Rikh, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, by shelling of a residential area, according to police.

The injured a 57-year-old womanwas hit by shrapnel and is hospitalized in critical condition.

Moreover a fire broke out during the night in an industrial complexfollowing a Russian strike that “damaged important infrastructure,” authorities said.

Further south, in the region of Chersona, series of blows have caused the death of one person and the injury of another from Friday morning.

Two injuries from attacks were also reported in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions in eastern Ukraine.

The Ukrainian presidency also clarified that many areas in the Donetsk region, including the city of Avdiivka, are “under the fire of the Russians”.

Violent clashes have been raging in this city since mid-October and the Russian army has launched many attacks from there.
