War in Ukraine: US Congress Committee meets in Kyiv with Zelensky

“The United States, along with its allies and partners around the world, has stood by Ukraine by providing economic, military and humanitarian assistance.” says the statement of the American delegation. “We will continue to look for ways to support President Zelensky and the Ukrainian people as effectively as possible as they continue their brave resistance.”is added.

The Minister of Defense of USA Lloyd Austin reported on Wednesday that Washington would send four more multiple-launch missile systems to Ukraine, bringing the total number of HIMARS sent to date to 16.

The American delegation made no specific reference on Saturday to transfers of weapons systems. Smith reportedly told US-backed Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty that Washington and its allies were ready to deliver more multiple-launch missile systems to Ukraine.
