War in Ukraine: US Considers New Sanctions on Russia, White House Says

Speaking to reporters at the regular press conference, Bedingfield said that US President Joe Biden is still considering options available to extend sanctions and is expected to make announcements in the coming days.

Pentagon warning to Russian troops

Russia has begun redeploying less than 20 percent of its troops around Kyiv, the Pentagon has said, warning that Moscow is expected to redeploy and repatriate its troops rather than send them back home. .

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said some Russian forces may have already moved to Belarus and not to their barracks.
