War in Ukraine: Victory is closer, said Zelensky

Its president Of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, sent a new message to the citizens of his country and the world through social media. He argued that victory in war and peace are approaching and that if the Russia she knew what was waiting for her she would not invaded.

“We bring peace closer, we bring victory closer. This war cannot end without victory. This is how it’s gonna happen. “We can not stop for a minute, because in every minute our fate, our future and our survival are judged”, stressed Zelenski and continued:

“It’s the 30th day. It’s been a month. If Russia knew that everything it encountered in Ukraine would await it, I am sure it would be afraid to invade. In this month we have kept control of all the main areas that the Russians attacked. The world has imposed catastrophic sanctions on them. “We continue to work and make agreements so that new ones (sanctions) can be imposed on them.”

The Ukrainian president also referred to his speeches at the NATO summit, but also to those of the G7 and the European Union. He stressed that he also spoke in the Swedish parliament, but also that he had contacts with the Prime Minister of Israel, Naftali Bennett, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, as well as the President of Lithuania, Gitana Nauseda. “All these contacts are made to support our country. “They are necessary for our defense,” he said, adding that “everything is being done for Russia to understand one thing – it will also need to seek peace.”

“The danger in Ukraine is yours too”

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky met in Kyiv with the speakers of the Baltic parliaments. He hosted Estonia Yuri Ratas, Latvia Inara Mourniese and Lithuania Victoria Kmilte-Nielsen. They talked about the war in Ukraine and told them that the danger that his country is in is a danger that they are also in – that is, to be the next ones that Russia will invade.

He also said: “From the first hours you are with us, by our side. In Ukraine, everyone understands and appreciates it. We trust you to the fullest – Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia and Poland. “And that has to do with your actions towards Ukraine,” he concluded.
