Watermelon anyone? Fresh from Kherson, the fellas are in good spirits but the rushists continue to fight while running away.
Our thoughts are with the defenders as they secure and clear these newly freed areas. Please be safe everyone!#UkrainianArmy #Ukraine #StandWithUkraine pic.twitter.com/bxWve9E2Ey

Politicians use fruit emoji in official updates. Some companies have incorporated watermelons into their logos. Even the post office has announced plans to issue a special stamp with… the image of a watermelon.

The reason, simple. Ukrainian forces forced the Russian army to withdraw from Kherson, which with its usually high temperatures during the summer months is known for the quality of its watermelons.
Ukraine’s armed forces are getting closer and closer to Kherson.

The occupation of the region by the Russian forces, and the interruption of the export of the fruit had been a great economic blow for Ukraine.
