War in Ukraine: “Welcome to America”, residents shouted as American volunteers released them

Volunteers from the US are shown in video fighting on the front lines against the Russians in Ukraine. It is further evidence that the “international legion” assisting the Ukrainians is playing an increasingly active role in the fighting.

Two videos appeared on Twitter during the previous hours. One of them shows an American in a military uniform posing in front of what is left of a tank, which he claimed was Russian. Someone is heard shouting at him, a resident of the village on the outskirts of Kiev, where the operation “Welcome to America” took place, with the American soldier repeating the phrase.

This video was posted on social media by James Vazquez, a veteran US soldier who has been involved in construction since the end of his term. He left for Ukraine from Connecticut, USA and arrived in Poland on March 15 and crossed the border a day later. He had many drones with him. He was ordered to be transferred to the front line from the city of Lviv on March 18.

In fact, he stated that the specific village they recaptured was in the hands of the Russians for a month. He added that they were terrorizing the residents and taking their food. He stressed that they liberated the world, while destroying seven Russian tanks.

The other video, in which a different soldier speaks, who is also supposed to be American, shows several fighters finding cover on a wall, next to a road in a village where the narrator points out that they have been recaptured by Russian forces.
