Zelensky’s complaint for “blockade” on thousands of civilians trapped

The number of civilians who managed to leave four besieged cities of Ukraine was significantly lower yesterday, Friday (11/3), according to the president Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to his video message, a total of 7,144 civilians were evacuated from the war zones, a number that is significantly lower than in the previous two 24 hours.

Zelensky accused Russia of refusing to allow civilians to leave Mariupol and other besieged Ukrainian cities, assuring Kyiv that it would try again today to send food and medicine to those areas.

He claimed that the invaders, faced with strong resistance throughout Ukraine, were committing heinous acts similar to those of Islamic State terrorists, as he characteristically said, while kidnapping of Melitopolis mayor Ivan Fedorov. In fact, he described it as a “war crime”.

“The abduction of the mayor of Melitopolis is a war crime, a crime against the Republic. “I assure you that people in all democracies will find out about this and that the actions of the Russian invaders will be equated with those of the ISIS terrorists,” he said.

According to the President of Ukraine, more than 12,000 Russian soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the invasion of his country. Thousands more have been injured, captured or surrendered, he said, while praising Ukrainians for their resistance. “We have managed to prevent the occupation of the country in four days. “This must say something to the invaders.”

Today, everyone is gaining glory for Ukraine. In his or her place. Shows the world who Ukrainians are and what strength we have. Hold our ground! Hold on! We will win!
