Warner Bros. Reveals First Look At Mads Mikkelsen As Grindelwald In ‘Fantastic Beasts 3’

The first glimpse of Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets He gave us a taste of Mads Mikkelsen as Grindelwald. The successful prequel franchise created by Warner Bros. began in 2017 as part of a new series inspired by the wizarding world we already knew.

It wasn’t until the end of the first tape, Fantastic Animals and where to find them, that the audience learned that the villain of the story was none other than Gellert Grindelwald, played by Johnny Depp and whom we already knew from the saga Harry Potter.

While Depp returned for the sequel and put an interesting twist on the story, his participation in this long-awaited third film had to be rejected in the wake of the scandal in his private life. So, in late 2020, it was announced that Mads Mikkelsen would replace him as Grindelwald.

Now, almost a year later, Warner Bros. has released the first preview of everything we will see in Fantastic Beasts 3, with Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller and Katherine Waterston as protagonists, and giving us the exact date on which the official trailer of the film will reach social networks.

Although it is short and doesn’t have much context, this first look at Mikkelsen as Grindelwald shows him surrounded by muggles furious, which could indicate that he will be attached to what we saw in the previous tape, where it was revealed that Credence is actually another member of the Dumbledore family.

In addition, there is a possibility that the relationship between Grindelwald and Albus Dumbledore will develop even more in this film and we can finally discover the connection between these two characters.
