Warner Bros. Entertainment released the first images of “Furiosa”, from the Mad Max saga, at CCXP23 this Thursday (30). The image shows a bronze figure surrounded by people, also in the same color; The trailer shows a few electrifying seconds of the new film.
The poster was revealed on the Thunder Stage panel, the main stage of the fair, to promote the film. As a prequelthe production will tell a story that took place before the film “Mad Max: Fury Road”.
The main actress, Anya Taylor-Joy (who plays Furiosa), and Chris Hemsworth (who plays the villain Dementus), participated in the promotion, as well as the director, George Miller.
Hemsworth is known for playing Thor in the Marvel universe, while Taylor-Joy starred in the Netflix series “The Queen’s Gambit”.
“I worked as Thor for many years. I was always the hero,” he commented. However, for Hemsworth, playing the warlord Dementus, who is the other side – of the villain – was something that gave him new perspective as an actor: “I loved it.”
At the end of the panel, the actors were applauded by the audience, who filled the space.
During the panel, the trailer was also shown.
CCXP23 started this Thursday and runs until next Sunday (3), with the presence of several brands from the pop universe promoting new films, comics, books, TV series, among others. The event takes place at São Paulo Expo, in the south of São Paulo.
