Yesterday, February 2, Nissan, as part of its signature event called Nissan Futures, introduced perhaps one of the most interesting vehicles on the market today – the Max-Out concept car. This electric car immediately attracted the attention of the audience with its non-standard convertible body design – the car looks so futuristic that it would easily fit into the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, for example. On the front side of the car, for example, there is no familiar grille (since it is not necessary) – instead of it, a panel with a stylish backlight is installed, above which there is a visual line of the hood with the Nissan logo (also highlighted).

However, the hood familiar to everyone is not here either – the manufacturer decided that it could be sacrificed for the sake of aerodynamics. The fact is that the front panel has through “nostrils” that continue where a conventional car has a hood, increasing downforce and reducing resistance to oncoming air flow. The windshield in this case is represented by a solid element of a curved shape, behind which there is a salon with two seats. And the interior, of course, deserves special praise – there is a huge display that acts both as a dashboard and a multimedia system screen.

The car does not have a steering wheel – it was replaced with a backlit steering wheel that occupies exactly half of the control body, plus in the center there is a touch screen and buttons reminiscent of PS5 gamepad controls. The seats in the cabin are contoured and backlit, which is to be expected, and there is a very stylish Nissan logo in the rear of the car, made in a holographic projection format. Visually it looks extremely attractive, and from a technical point of view it is easy to implement, but there is simply no room for turn signals and brake lights. Perhaps the cars of the future simply do not need them.

Rounding out the list of insane Nissan engineering is the wheels, which aren’t actually wheels, but individual displays. They are equipped with LED lights with many patterns that can be changed depending on the owner’s preferences, and in the dark it looks very cool. Of course, the company did not say anything about the characteristics of this car – at the moment it is just a demonstration of what Nissan electric cars will be like in ten to twenty years, so it’s too early to talk about the power reserve and driving dynamics.
