The United States will at some point lift all restrictions it has imposed on Ukraine on the use of weapons it supplies, Russia believes, Anatoly Antonov, the Russian ambassador to the United States, said, as reported by the RIA news agency. “The current government is behaving like someone who gives one hand for a handshake and holds a knife behind his back with the other,” Antonov commented, calling Washington’s recent announcement that Kiev cannot use American weapons for “provocation” to strike targets deep inside Russian territory. “They essentially pave the way for the lifting of all current restrictions at some point, without much thought,” he added.
