U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and his South Korean counterpart Kim Sung-khan condemned in a telephone conversation today the North Korean ballistic missile launches earlier, the White House announced.
North Korea today fired three ballistic missiles into the offshore area off the east coast, launching a time-lapse race to bolster its arsenal.
The two countries’ National Security Advisers also discussed US President Joe Biden’s upcoming visit to South Korea, according to the White House. The US president will travel to Asia (May 20-24) and visit South Korea and Japan.
