Netflix released this Thursday (11) the trailer for “Luz”, the platform’s first original Brazilian children’s series.
Luz (Mariana Santos) is a nine-year-old girl who decides to escape the indigenous community where she lives in search of discovering her true origins.
“A curious and determined girl goes in search of her biological family and ends up arriving at a school where she will experience great adventures”, says the Netflix description.
The cast also includes Daniel Rocha, Gabriela Moreyra, Dandara Albuquerque, Claudia Di Moura, Mauricio Destri, Mel Lisboa, Celso Frateschi, Marcos Pasquim and Miá Mello, among others.
Based on an original idea by Guillermo Pendino and directed by Thiago Teitelroit, the series does not yet have a defined release date, but should arrive on the streaming platform “soon”, according to Netflix.
