German Economy Minister Peter Altmaier, said on Friday that its goal is to extend aid for companies affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in six more months until the end of the year, as reported Reuters.
Altmaier further noted that talks are ongoing, adding that he hopes to see a decision before the summer vacation of parliament.
Similarly, German Finance Minister Olaf Scholz said that aid for companies should be provided for as long as it is needed.
