The developers of the NashStore project, the Russian analogue of Google Play, spoke about the possibility of creating an application store for the iPhone. This was reported by the publication “Gazeta.Ru”.

As noted in the publication, analogues of the App Store can be created if users no longer have the opportunity to pay for purchases via a mobile phone.
Vladimir Zykov, Project Director of ANO Digital Platforms, explained in a conversation with reporters:
In fact, we are still thinking about it. We are looking at what will happen with Apple. So far, they have not removed the ability to pay via mobile phone, although they have repeatedly stated that Apple has such plans. While we watch and wait. It is clear that if the opportunity disappears, then you will have to look for options on how to pay. And most likely, this will be implemented through a deal-breaker, but I think that we will also look in this direction.”
Earlier, Zykov spoke about the creation of the NashStore app store for Android and plans to launch it on May 9, 2022. He then stressed that more than 700 companies are involved in the development.
