Palestinian parents of six children, Khader Junaid and his wife Huda, commented that they were tired of travel, after they had to move again because of the resumption of Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Huda said that “not two months ago” since the Junaid family returned to the home destroyed in the east of Jabalia and raised a tent beside her.
On Wednesday (19), the family went to a school transformed into a shelter in the Palestinian city, but could not find a place among the crowd, which forced the Palestinians to set up a tent with the bathrooms.
The Israeli army had sent withdrawals to the residents of Gaza where the Junaid family was living, Khader reported, but they stayed for another night before they decided to leave when the bombing intensified.
“We are tired of displacement, we are tired of life,” added the 37 -year -old father.
Israel resumed air strikes in Gaza since Tuesday (18) and launched land operations on Wednesday (19), effectively abandoning a ceasefire that had been in force since January with the Palestinian militant group Hamas.
At least 70 Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured in Israeli air attacks in Gaza on Thursday, a Gaza health authority said.
At least 510 Palestinians have died in the last three days, more than half of them women and children, Khalil Al-Deqran, spokesman for the Ministry of Health of the Territory to Reuters.
The war began after Hamas militants attacked Israeli communities in October 2023, killing 1,200 people and doing more than 250 hostages, according to Israeli counts.
More than 49,000 Palestinians were killed in the following conflict, according to Gaza’s health authorities, with the enclave reduced to rubble.
