United States President Joe Biden announced Thursday that they had reached an agreement on the infrastructure spending plan after a meeting with a bipartisan group of senators, as reported Reuters.
“Neither party got everything it wanted in an infrastructure deal.”
“Serious compromises were made with human infrastructure.”
“We will see what happens in the conciliation bill, the budget process.”
Commenting on this development, US Republican Senator Portman noted that the infrastructure deal has no new taxes.
Market mood remains bullish after these comments and the S&P 500 Index was last seen as rising 0.62% on the day to 4,267.
