‘We just need to take back ours’: Thousands on the streets of Israel for hostages in the Gaza Strip

Thousands of Israelis took to the streets last Saturday, mainly in Tel Aviv, to demand the release of some fifty hostages still held in the Gaza Strip, AFP reporters said. It was the first weekly demonstration after the ceasefire that came into force on June 24 between Israel and Iran. During the 12 days of the war that launched the Jewish state against the Islamic Republic on June 13, Israeli authorities had banned public rally for security reasons.
