“This energy crisis was triggered by Putin. Europe now has to face its weaknesses in the energy market: to diversify supplies, strengthen interconnections and win the ecological transition bet,” Sanchez said.

Referring to European defense, the Spanish Prime Minister said that “Putin, with his unjustified and unjust war, reminded us that” peace must be defended “and that is why” the member states of the Union, next week must approve the Strategic Compass for defense “.
